About Us
Qualified Instructors
The School of Two Swords has a multitude of instructors in a wide variety of weapon and unarmed systems of combat. SoTS instructors are routinely invited to teach at martial arts workshops worldwide. The Director of the school is Steven Huff.
Our Founder
Colonel Dwight C. McLemore was a combat arms officer with the U.S. Army and an accomplished bladesman and instructor. He was renowned for his vast knowledge of Bowie and big-knife fighting and had decades of experience in self-defense and martial arts. The founder of the School of Two Swords, McLemore was rated expert level with the American Knife Congress, certified in kung fu, and held 1st dan in kendo. He passed in March of 2021.
Our Systems
The School of Two Swords teaches the McLemore system for many of its weapon styles. Our more recent expert level instructors have brought their systems in other weapon styles, which have been incorporated into the School of Two Swords curriculum.
